Experienced & Reliable
Complete Moving Services for Wake Forest

Moving with Heart. Handled with Precision.
At Jones Helps U Move, this isn't just a slogan; it's the promise we make to every client. We know that behind every box is a story, a memory, or a dream for your new home in Wake Forest. That's why my team and I don't just supply the muscle; we bring genuine care and respect to every move. The bond you see in this photo reflects the trust and teamwork our crew brings to your move, ensuring your belongings are handled with the utmost precision while you are treated with kindness and understanding every step of the way. When you hire us, you aren't just getting movers; you're getting neighbors who care.
Local Residential Moving
My team specializes in household moves throughout the Wake Forest area. Your home and furniture are major investments, and we treat them that way by using the proper protective materials. Using our knowledge and skills we get your items across town safely, without scratching your floors or dinging your walls.
Long-Distance Moving
Leaving North Carolina? We provide direct, dedicated transport. We bring the "local movers touch" to our long-distance moves. We do not operate like big van lines that combine multiple households into one trailer. Your belongings are the only ones on our truck. We drive straight to your new door—no layovers, no swapping crews, and no confusion.
Packing & Unpacking Services
Packing doesn't have to be all or nothing. You can choose for us to pack your entire home, or specific rooms like the kitchen. We are happy to provide the professional supplies, or we can use your own boxes—as long as they are in good condition. It is a custom service designed around what you need.
Specialty Item Moving
While some movers shy away from heavy or awkward items, Jones Helps U Move does not. I ensure my crew has the training and experience to handle these challenges correctly. We frequently move pianos, heavy safes, and slate pool tables, and even delicate heirlooms like grandfather clocks—applying our knowledge and skill to ensure their safe transport. We can move almost anything within reason, using the right equipment to protect both the item and your home.
Commercial Relocations
From one business owner to another, I know time is money. Jones Helps U Move will be your partner to get your office relocated efficiently so you aren't shut down for long. We can move desks, filing cabinets, and office equipment quickly. Your team can focus on their actual jobs while we handle the rest and get you back up and running quickly.
Labor Only Moving Services
Already have a rental truck or a POD? No worries! I provide services for every moving scenario. We pack the truck "high and tight," utilizing every inch of vertical space to keep the load stable. Rental trucks have stiff suspension, so a professional pack is the only way to keep items from bouncing around and breaking while you drive.

Jones Helps U Move was such a great help for us! I recommended them to my sister who was also moving, and they did a great job for us both! They are very responsive and communicative. The moving was done quickly and carefully. Pretty affordable too!

These guys are quality dudes. I've never had such turn key movers before. These two showed up and made it happen. Their attention to detail was unparalleled. I've used movers several times before and I've never been so impressed. I will recommend these guys to everyone. I'll definitely us them again.
Moving in Wake Forest: What You Need to Know
Having 'home-field advantage" means we know more than just the map. We know exactly when to avoid Rogers Road during school dismissal and which neighborhoods have driveways steep enough to require a special ramp. We understand the daily rhythm of Wake Forest, which allows us to plan your move with precision and avoid the surprises that out-of-town movers miss. Here are the honest answers to the questions I hear most often.
My closing dates keep getting pushed back. What should I do?
This is a huge cause of stress for my clients building new homes in Wake Forest. Don't panic. I know how builders operate, and I know these dates are often "moving targets." Just keep us in the loop. We prioritize flexibility for our new construction clients so you aren't left without a mover when the date finally sticks.
Can you navigate the strict HOA rules in Heritage or Traditions?
Absolutely. We know that compliance goes beyond just parking. Many Wake Forest neighborhoods restrict commercial vehicles on Sundays before 8:00 AM. I build our schedule around these specific rules so you never face a shutdown or a fine on moving day. We also handle the gate access logistics to the truck isn't stuck waiting outside while the clock is ticking.
Can we make an extra stop for storage or donations?
Yes! It is very common here to have a "multi-stop" move. We can easily swing by a storage unit off Capital Blvd or drop off donation items at the Habitat ReStore on South Main Street before heading to your new home. My team will load those specific items last so they come off first, making the extra stop quick and easy. Just let us know in the planning phase, and I will build that extra stop into our route.
How do I get an accurate quote? (Are there hidden fees?)
I believe in total transparency and honesty: these are the principles I founded Jones Helps U Move on. I want you to know exactly how our pricing works before you book with us. For standard local moves, we work on a clear hourly rate. If you have specialty items—like the pianos, safes, or pool tables we specialize in—I will give you a flat-rate price for those specific items upfront. No surprise "stair fees" or 'long carry fees" on moving day. To get the most accurate quote, I definitely recommend utilizing our in-person or virtual walk-throughs.
Do I have to empty my dresser drawers?
This is the #1 question I get! The honest answer is: it depends on the piece. For sturdy dressers, you can usually leave light clothing (t-shirts, socks, shorts) inside. However, please remove breakables, heavy items like books, and always empty the drawers of antique or fragile furniture. If the piece is too heavy to navigate your stairs safely, my team might need to remove the drawers temporarily, but we will handle that for you.
Still have a question?
Real life rarely fits into a standard list of questions. If you are facing a logistical puzzle—like a gap between closing dates or a tricky heirloom—don't guess. I have been in the moving industry for a long time, and that experience allows me to solve complex problems that other movers avoid. Reach out to me directly, and let's build a specific plan for your peace of mind.
Let's Get Your Move on the Calendar
You aren't sending this form to a generic call center; it comes directly to me. Good dates book up quickly in Wake Forest, especially towards the end of the month. Tell me a little about your home and your timeline below. Even if your closing date is still up in the air, getting on my radar now is the best way to ensure my team is available when you finally get the keys!
