  • Pre-Flight Prep: We dive into the details of your inventory, focusing on high-value items like pianos or safes that require specialized technical gear and extra care. This is a crucial step in the foundation of your moving journey. It is vitally important that you do not leave anything out. Even if it seems small to you, it may be an important piece of information for us to ensure everything runs smoothly. Knowing the items you have ahead of time is how we determine your truck size, quotes, and any moving equipment we need to have on hand. The best way for all of us to be on the same page is either a virtual or in-person walk-through with our expert estimator. Packing Logistics: This step is also where you would generally decide if you want to take advantage of our packing services so that we can plan accordingly (you can always add this service later, but the sooner the better). In the event that you'd like us to handle the boxing up, we'll discuss whether you would like for us to provide packing materials for you, or you can opt to provide your own. If you request our full packing services (meaning we would bring the materials), we ensure our truck arrives with every box, bubble wrap roll, and specialized container needed and requested - making this another reason why the walk-throughs are so helpful when it comes to planning. We want to be sure we have exactly what you need to feel confident about your move, even if you'd only like us to pack certain areas of your home while you handle the rest.
  • The Manifest: I provide a transparent, all-in estimate so you aren't hit with any 'mystery fees' halfway through your journey. As long as you did not leave out major details in the planning step, everything will go as planned. We hold being honest with our clients in high-regard and keeping our word means something to us.  Our estimates will cover every fee. This includes our protective material fees, which cover the heavy-duty shrink wrap, moving pads, tape, and the specialized cardboard we use to shield your furniture. We believe every item deserves a first-class seat, so we make sure the gear needed to keep your belongings scratch-free is baked into the plan from day one. For long-distance moving, we will provide a flat travel fee and a fuel cost fee. Any specialized items will be examined and a price for moving the item will be shared with you clearly based on the item itself and if there will be flights of stairs involved. Once these fees are provided to you the only possibility they will change is if you make changes (as in adding extra stops, realizing you forgot to inform of us item(s) that cause a significant change, changing the destination, or you failed to be transparent with us).
